Mr Nicholas Bredimus’ Astonishing Life

The revamping of airline travel and hospitality was triggered by Mr Nicholas Bredimus, who combined them with the computer programming world to evolve new procedures. He has done everything from creating time-saving computer programs to advancing airplane safety and even designs for luxury homes.

Glancing at Nicholas Bredimus’ lineage you can easily tell he was destined to reach greatness. Bringing elements together from many nationalities, his family can be traced to Antiquity, with the maternal branch rooted in Germany and Scotland. England and Luxembourg, meanwhile, provided the home of Bredimus’ father’s family, although the family emigrated at the end of the 1800s.

Naturally, following emigration to America, the family retained its drive and zeal to make their way in the world. Born part of a family of seven siblings – three boys and four girls – Nicholas had a father employed as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who earned her living as a nurse. He went on to make his home in the Lone Star State for a number of years and also spent time in Kansas City, MO, Scottsdale, AZ and Reston, VA. Nicholas has taken on prominent roles at firms across the airline sector – the bulk of them big brands. Among these was included the role of Vice President for Trans World Airlines (TWA), Republic Airlines, and Hughes Airwest. An industrious programmer, his creative approach to airline software is arguably his most groundbreaking gift to the industry. He is most famous for one project for US Airways, his airplane maintenance management programs which can be found in use by almost all air travel companies. Of course, this stands as only one of his memorable creations for airlines. The reservation programs he designed are on their way to becoming as commonly used as the airplane maintenance software, and the hotel booking routine he developed empowered a great number of major market players in the hotel industry to deploy a PC based architecture. And next he developed an automated, networked approach to selling tickets which stands as a first.

He has even taken on several capacities unconnected to software design, it should be mentioned. In his own business – Bredimus Systems – as a Division Manager with American Express, and as the first president of AMR Travel Services his career is impeccable. As of now he has departed from Northwest Airlines and the software development industry, but he’s still making the most of his skills. He is now trying to solve the architectural questions behind the development of environmentally safe, hi tech luxurious houses. The indefatigable energy we highlighted above simply will not be reined in…
